As the name shows, we try to help customers extend the standard workflows, this will cover on issue links, comments and attachment post functions.
Usage the app
Let’s talk about on how to use the app.
- Go to the workflow you want to update and click “Edit”.
- Add the post function in your workflow, and select the “Clear attachment, link and comments”.
2. Add the field you want to remove.
Click “Add” button.
3. Publish Draft to save your changes.
4. Test the post migration by running related transition on the issue.
Create a dummy issue, add the issue link, attachment or comments.
Click the “Transition” you have configured the post function and run it in a test issue.
Check the issue link, attachment or comments you have set in the post function, verify if the value is removed.
Install the app
Go to “Find new apps” in Atlassian Marketplace in Jira, Enter the app name in the search bar, find out the and click “Install” and confirm.
Uninstall the app
The same easy like “Install the app”, just go to “Manage apps” and find the app, and click “Uninstall” and confirm.
